why did you make the site?
For a start, I've been a fan of Rammstein since my middle/late teens, and through the years I've ended developing a soft spot for Flake, for several reasons. Also, I've been into fanlistings since December 2002 (because they're fun and because I enjoy making websites very much, both professionally and as a hobby). So it was just a matter of time that both things got together somehow, I guess.
Back when I decided to apply at TFL for the Flake fanlisting, he was the only Rammstein member without a fanlisting on his own... there had been one for him in the past, but it closed after a while and no one seemed interested in building a new one. So I decided to take care of that myself, that's all :) Because while Flake doesn't seem to care about popularity or having many fans, he still deserves as much love and recognition as the other band members do. Or even more!

And why not?
Now seriously... when you're a huge fan of a band, you can't help but having your favorite members I guess. And Flake is not the only R+ member I specially like, but as I've mentioned right above, I do have a soft spot for him. You can't pretend that you know someone through interviews and the like, because his "public self" may be very different from his "private self"... but I don't think this is the case. From his interviews, logbook entries (what I've read of them at least), making of appearances and such, I think he's a very interesting person - at least he's definitely the Rammstein member I'd choose to spend an afternoon with if I was given the chance, having some drinks or going for a long walk and talking about whatever. I like him because he doesn't care about the whole "rock star" thing, because he tries to be just normal and to keep his feet on the ground. I like his sense of humor, and the way he sometimes talks about things in a way you don't know if you should take him seriously or not. I like him because he doesn't mind playing always the funniest (and weirdest) roles onstage and the music videos - on the contrary, he's proud to be always the one who's selected. I like him because... well, I like him because he's Flake, and I've always felt there's something different about him that makes him special.

I'm not that interesting, and I don't like talking about myself at all... but I'll make an effort. You can call me
Setsu (my nickname) or Marta (my real name), I respond to both. Then of course I'm female (duh), I'm in my middle twenties, and I'm Spanish.
As I've hinted above I work as a webdeveloper. I like computers, reading, watching
movies, thinking way too much drawing... and playing videogames, because I'm such a dork. I can't help myself.
I used to have a personal website - sort of, but it's been down for renovation for over a year and I don't know if I'll ever put it up again, because honestly, I don't know if I feel like it anymore. So if you're curious and want to know more about me, you'll have to ask. I tend to be really slow replying emails, but I promise I'll try my best to get back to you as soon as possible :)

The picture taken to make the site layout (picture I'm absolutely in love with, by the way) was taken from RammsteinNicCage. The layout brushes and "effects" were achieved thanks to brushes and textures taken from ColorFilter and Gender.
Some of the pictures used for the button codes were taken from Rammimages, I don't remember about the others because they've been sitting in my hard drive for years, literally. If you're the author of any of the pictures and you'd like to discuss any copyright issues, which is not very likely but could happen, please don't hesitate contacting me.
Last but not least, the script I use to manage the fanlisting is Enthusiast (developed by Angela), and the one used to process the contact form is NL-PHPMail, developed by Sasha and currently available at Codegrrl.com.
